Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, analytics, and development. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Erwin, PL/SQL, Oracle, and Python, with telecom and/or mobile domain experience highly preferred.
This is a hands-on position responsible for designing, developing, managing, and optimizing data architecture and database solutions that support business objectives. The Data Architect will work closely with stakeholders, project teams, consultants, and business leaders to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
· Design and implement scalable data models using Erwin based on business and functional requirements.
· Develop and optimize complex PL/SQL scripts and Oracle database solutions.
· Design normalized OLTP data models, database schemas, tables, relationships, and constraints.
· Develop and maintain data model policies and procedures supporting functional design.
· Lead data pipeline, integration, and data migration strategies.
· Optimize database performance, scalability, and system compatibility.
· Perform data capacity planning and develop strategies to support future scalability.
· Troubleshoot data-related issues involving system integration and compatibility.
· Analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights and support business decision-making.
· Establish data quality processes to monitor completeness, accuracy, redundancy, and integrity.
· Implement data governance and stewardship practices.
· Ensure data security and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
· Work closely with project leads, consultants, and business unit leaders on data-related initiatives.
· Provide technical leadership and promote data architecture best practices.
· Communicate effectively with customers and project teams and escalate issues when necessary.
· Participate hands-on in data modeling, coding, performance tuning, and troubleshooting activities.
Required Qualifications
· 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, analytics, and development.
· Strong hands-on experience with Erwin.
· Advanced PL/SQL development experience.
· Strong expertise in Oracle and relational database technologies.
· Strong Python development experience.
· Advanced knowledge of OLTP data modeling and database design.
· Experience designing and implementing database schemas, relationships, constraints, and data structures.
· Strong understanding of ETL, data integration, and data migration processes.
· Experience with database performance optimization and scalability.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Experience with data quality, data integrity, governance, and security.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
· Ability to work effectively with cross-functional technical and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications
· Telecom domain experience.
· Mobile domain experience.
· Experience working with telecom/mobile-specific data systems.
· Experience developing data architecture solutions for large-scale enterprise environments.
· Experience with data governance frameworks and stewardship processes.
