Job Description
The Product Owner will partner closely with client stakeholders and Incedo delivery teams to define requirements, manage the product backlog, and ensure successful delivery of Retirement Partner capabilities. This role is ideal for someone who brings strong retirement domain knowledge—especially RMD and Roth Conversion flows—and can independently drive requirement clarity and business alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Backlog Ownership — Own, manage, and prioritize the product backlog based on business and client priorities.
- Requirement Clarification — Collaborate with client/business stakeholders to understand, refine, and document functional requirements.
- User Story Development — Create clear user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and process flows for engineering and QA.
- Agile Delivery Leadership — Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, UAT, and feature delivery.
- Dependency & Gap Management — Identify requirement gaps, manage cross‑team dependencies, and maintain proactive stakeholder communication.
- Quality Validation — Ensure delivered functionality aligns with expected business outcomes and domain rules.
Domain Experience
- Retirement Products Expertise — Strong hands‑on knowledge of Retirement Products and the end‑to‑end business processes.
- RMD Flows — Deep understanding of Required Minimum Distribution eligibility, calculations, and distribution processing.
- Roth Conversions — Solid understanding of Roth Conversion flows and related business rules.
- Retirement Data Processes — Strong knowledge of data flow, processing, transformation, and downstream impacts within Retirement Partner.
- Stakeholder Communication — Ability to independently discuss retirement domain requirements with client/business stakeholders.
Required Skills & Tools
- 5+ years as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in an Agile environment.
- Strong requirement gathering, prioritization, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Hands‑on experience managing backlogs, requirements, and documentation.
- Experience with Lucidchart or Visio for process and data flow modeling.
- Working knowledge of Figma for reviewing wireframes and collaborating with UX/design teams.
- Retirement/financial‑services experience strongly prefer
