Java Developer with React
Role Overview
- We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Java Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Java Spring Boot and working knowledge of React. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently owning features end-to-end, from requirements analysis through design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- The role requires close collaboration with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver features throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and maintainable applications.
- Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop and maintain user interfaces using React.
- Participate in technical design discussions and provide implementation recommendations.
- Ensure code quality through reviews, automated testing, and adherence to engineering best practices.
- Support production releases and troubleshoot issues when required.
- Communicate progress, risks, and technical solutions effectively with stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Architecture and solution design experience
- Experience defining application/repository structures and technical standards
- Insurance domain experience
- Cloud platform experience (AWS) is a plus
Desired Candidate Profile
- 6+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong hands-on engineering background with the ability to contribute to coding activities
- Ability to independently own features and drive them to production
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact directly with Product Owners and stakeholders
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
