Job Description
The Business Analyst / Data Analytics professional will partner with client’s Member Value organization to translate business needs into data-driven insights that improve member experiences and operational outcomes. The role will analyze member journeys, identify friction and retention opportunities, define business requirements, and develop dashboards and executive-ready recommendations. The ideal candidate combines strong stakeholder management, SQL and visualization skills, and the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Stakeholder Management
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, operational challenges, and member experience opportunities.
• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions with business, operations, digital, marketing, and analytics teams.
• Translate business problems into measurable analytical questions and actionable recommendations.
• Drive alignment between business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams.
Data Analytics & Insights
• Analyze member behavior, customer journeys, onboarding experiences, retention drivers, and operational performance.
• Develop analytical frameworks to identify member friction points and opportunities for service improvement.
• Conduct descriptive, diagnostic, and exploratory analysis using structured and unstructured data.
• Generate actionable insights and executive-ready presentations to support strategic decision-making.
• Support Next Best Experience, Member Deepening, Retention, and Contact Center optimization initiatives.
Reporting & Visualization
• Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and KPIs using Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools.
• Monitor business performance metrics and proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Create executive reporting and business review materials.
• Improve reporting efficiency by identifying automation opportunities and reducing manual effort.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related roles.
• Strong experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and data validation.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI/reporting platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience creating executive presentations and communicating insights to senior leadership.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and product delivery frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
