Job Description
The Enterprise Architect will define, govern, and evolve the enterprise technology architecture across infrastructure, cloud, and security domains. This role is responsible for translating business strategy into scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective technology roadmaps while ensuring alignment between business stakeholders, platform teams, security teams, and delivery programs.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent graduation qualification.
- 15+ years of IT experience with significant architecture leadership across infrastructure, cloud, and security domains.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, technology strategy, IT operating models, governance, and architecture review boards.
- Hands-on architecture experience with leading cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, including hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- Deep knowledge of infrastructure technologies including virtualization, storage, networking, backup, disaster recovery, monitoring, and automation.
- Strong security architecture knowledge across IAM, zero trust, network security, endpoint protection, encryption, vulnerability management, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience around End user computing technologies like VDI, M365, Field Services and Service Desk.
- Experience designing scalable, highly available, resilient, and secure architectures for enterprise workloads and mission-critical platforms.
- Knowledge of automation and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, ARM/Bicep, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.
- Ability to create architecture blueprints, roadmaps, business cases, technical standards, transition plans, and executive-level presentations.
- Strong stakeholder management, consulting, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills across business and technology teams.
- Experience working with global delivery teams, managed service providers, system integrators, and technology vendors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
