Job Description
We are seeking a Principal Network Infrastructure Architect - Hyperscale/Service Provider to lead large-scale infrastructure modernization, network automation, performance engineering, and cloud transformation initiatives across data centers, PoPs, backbone networks, and edge environments.
This role will focus on architecting scalable infrastructure , driving open-source network and infrastructure automation , and accelerating content delivery and performance . The Principal Network Infrastructure Architect will act as a senior technical advisor and innovation partner to client infrastructure leaders and will play a key role in shaping our digital infrastructure services strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect scalable network and infrastructure solutions across data centers, cloud, edge, and backbone environments.
- Lead network and infrastructure automation using Ansible, Terraform, NetBox, and Python.
- Drive performance, resilience, low-latency, and content delivery optimization.
- Implement observability, telemetry, monitoring, and auto-remediation frameworks.
- Support AI/ML-driven predictive infrastructure operations and anomaly detection.
- Develop infrastructure build/test labs, provisioning strategies, and reusable automation playbooks.
- Drive cloud and infrastructure cost optimization across hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
- Partner with client CTO/VP-level stakeholders and lead cross-functional engineering teams.
- Contribute to infrastructure modernization strategies, roadmaps, and innovation initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in network engineering, infrastructure architecture, and operations.
- Strong experience with hyperscale/cloud-scale environments, data centers, PoPs, backbone networks, and edge infrastructure.
- Hands-on expertise with Ansible, Terraform, NetBox, and Python.
- Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP, hybrid cloud, and edge computing.
- Experience with network automation, Zero-Touch Provisioning, and Intent-Based Networking.
- Strong understanding of network performance, throughput, latency, and content acceleration.
- Knowledge of AI/ML for infrastructure automation and observability is a plus.
- Excellent communication and client-facing leadership skills, with experience engaging senior technical stakeholders.
