Job Description
IT Technician – Laptop Provisioning
Our client is looking for an IT Technician to support a short-term laptop provisioning project in Rosemont, IL.
The client has approximately 150 Windows laptops that need to be provisioned, configured, and prepared for new hires. The ideal candidate should be able to hit the ground running and provide hands-on technical support in an onsite environment.
Responsibilities
- Provision and configure Windows laptops for new employees.
- Set up laptops and ensure they are ready for deployment.
- Perform basic hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Provide deskside and face-to-face technical support to end users.
- Assist with laptop deployment and related IT support activities.
- Follow established procedures for provisioning and preparing equipment.
Candidate Availability & Logistics
Candidates must be able to:
- Start immediately or by Monday.
- Work onsite in Rosemont, IL, 5 days per week with no exceptions.
- Reliably commute to the Rosemont location every day.
- Work directly with end users in a face-to-face environment.
- Commit to the full 4–6 week project.
- Have no conflicting school, classes, part-time employment, or other commitments.
- Disclose any upcoming planned travel or time off.
