Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Golang Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications and microservices. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Go/Golang, REST APIs, microservices, databases, cloud platforms, and distributed systems.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of software development experience with strong Golang/Go expertise
- Strong knowledge of Go programming, concurrency, goroutines, channels, and error handling
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices
- Strong understanding of HTTP, JSON, API design, and distributed systems
- Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL/SQL Server and database optimization
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, Jenkins/GitHub Actions/GitLab
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix environments
- Experience with unit testing, debugging, performance tuning, and code reviews
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services using Golang
- Build and maintain REST APIs and microservices
- Develop high-performance and concurrent applications
- Integrate applications with databases, messaging platforms, and external APIs
- Deploy and support applications in cloud and containerized environments
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA, and other engineering teams
