Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Extensive Experience in integration architecture with knowledge of SAP CPI, SAP PI, Boomi, or similar technologies.
- Understanding of all functional areas of ERP (Finance, Supply chain, Order to cash, Manufacturing).
- TOGAF or equivalent Enterprise Architecture experience/certification.
- Has good technical understanding and the aptitude to remain up to date with technology and industry developments.
- Effective and persuasive in both written and oral communication.
- Has thorough knowledge of the system components and interfaces being integrated.
- Has thorough knowledge of integration testing procedures.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in positions entailing architecture leadership, but not limited to, gathering requirements, designing the future state solution, and integration testing.
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise applications, architecture, integration, or SAP technologies, with significant architecture leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA integration architecture.
- Strong experience with enterprise integration patterns and integration platforms.
- Experience with SAP BTP / SAP Integration Suite or comparable enterprise iPaaS technologies.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, SOAP, OData, IDoc, RFC/BAPI, messaging, events, EDI/B2B, and file-based integrations.
- Experience integrating SAP with major SaaS, cloud, legacy, and third-party enterprise platforms.
- Experience working in complex global enterprise environments.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide architecture leadership around SAP CPI, including Cloud Integration, API Management, event-driven integration, and B2B capabilities.
- Architect integrations between SAP S/4HANA and enterprise platforms such as CRM, HR, SCM, planning, procurement, banking, tax, manufacturing, e-commerce, data, and analytics systems.
- Define appropriate use of SAP APIs, OData, IDocs, RFC/BAPI, SOAP/REST services, events, file-based integration, and other integration mechanisms.
- Lead integration architecture reviews and provide design authority for strategic programs.
- Identify integration risks, technical debt, scalability constraints, and areas requiring modernization.
- Translate business capabilities and end-to-end processes into integration architecture.
- Guide implementation team with architecture governance and detailed integration development.
- Establish integration principles, standards, reference architectures, and reusable integration patterns.
- Drive architectural decisions across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- Reduce point-to-point integrations and promote reusable, loosely coupled integration services.
- Maintain integration roadmaps aligned with business transformation and application modernization.
