Job Description
Databrick Engineer with GCP Focus
MUST HAVE
- Strong hands-on Databricks + GCP experience
- Design, build and evolve Databricks on GCP as an enterprise data/analytics platform
- Strong understanding of GCP cloud infrastructure and how Databricks integrates with it
- Experience with Databricks architecture, deployment, security and networking on GCP
- Strong AWS experience or familiarity with existing Databricks on AWS environments
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure beyond Spark, notebooks and data pipelines
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement Databricks on GCP.
- Integrate Databricks with GCP services and infrastructure.
- Design enterprise-grade security, networking, connectivity and governance.
- Assess and align existing Databricks on AWS architecture and patterns.
- Drive platform scalability, reliability and performance.
- Provide technical guidance on Databricks/cloud architecture.
Ideal Candidate: A hands-on Databricks Platform/Cloud Engineer or Architect who has actually implemented Databricks on GCP, not someone who only has Spark/data engineering experience. Strong AWS/Databricks exposure is also important.
