Job Description
Required skills:
• Develop and maintain various database applications on the IBM iseries platform, utilizing dynamic SQL, convert RPG code to sql stored procedures, performance tuning, logging and exception handling.
• Expert SQL stored procedures, development experience in db2 IBM iseries platform. Please note that this is a MUST. If they just have embedded SQL and RPG experience, we are not going to move them to an interview.
• Able to read RPGIV, RPGLE, RPGFree programs, embedded SQL
• Conversion/modernization experience from RPG to SQL stored procedures in db2
• IBM tools such as Aldon, RDI, ACS etc.
• + Application development experience interacting with front end using REST APIs, Json
• + exposure to python, microservices, VS code IDE development
• + git source control and integration
