Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Developer to assist in the modernization and migration of legacy Oracle Forms applications to Oracle APEX running on Oracle Database 19c. As part of an enterprise modernization initiative, legacy systems built on older Oracle Forms technology are being upgraded to modern, secure, and maintainable Oracle APEX applications.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
*Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
*5–7 years of experience developing in Oracle PL/SQL, including:
o Stored procedures
o Functions
o Packages
o Advanced queries
*5–7 years of experience developing applications using Oracle APEX.
*Strong knowledge of Oracle RDBMS (Oracle 19c preferred).
*Understanding of data modeling principles.
*Experience integrating web services.
*Experience with performance tuning, debugging, and testing SQL queries, views, and stored procedures in Oracle (and SQL Server).
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Strong written and verbal communication skills.
*Will consider locals / PA based candidates
*37.5 hours a week
*Experience developing in Oracle PL/SQL, including: Stored procedures, Functions, Packages, Advanced queries - 5 Years
*Strong experience using SQL Developer and/or TOAD.
*Prior Commonwealth or Environmental systems experience desired
