We are seeking an experienced Information Security Technical Coordinator who will be responsible for providing guidance, consultation, assistance, and troubleshooting to complex Information Security requests addressed to them. This position will actively support and/or lead complex security projects or programs including the planning, management, and implementation of assigned projects across the County Enterprise.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical subject such as Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Three years of progressively responsible, professional-level security and/or compliance experience in a large-scale Information Technology environment
- Ability to maintain an elevated level of expertise and knowledge in Information Security and technology developments.
- A clear understanding of the key concepts related to Project Management
- Ability to execute an action plan.
- Ability to perform work accurately completely, and promptly.
- Ability to communicate both written and oral with strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook.
Preferred Experience:
- PMP, CISM, or similar certification
- Minimum of 3 years progressive-related experience in either a project management role or process improvement-related role.
- Experience leading and supporting highly technical teams.
- Experience leading technical implementations completed by a third-party vendor(s).
- Ability to work on tight deadlines.
