RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a L3 Network/Palo Alto Engineer in New York, NY.

Summary:
We are seeking an energetic, innovative, customer-focused individual to join the IT Enterprise Infrastructure team. This position will work with a team that is responsible for the full lifecycle development and support of daily operations of IT network infrastructure and networking functions for global network operations.

Primary Responsibilies:
* Provide day to day support of routers, switches, firewalls technologies utilized by Network Operations Plan and recommend designs that could improve the existing network environment
* Provide analysis of network capacity and health Administration of corporate firewall infrastructure
* Implement networking best practices and standards throughout the infrastructure
* Creating documentation (to include Visio diagrams) and communications essential
* Participate and provide feedback into the day-to-day Network Operations
* Participate in managing support tickets through a ticket management system
* Escalate critical issues to manager in a timely manner Asset and vendor management
* Coordinate technical implementation with partners from business
* Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:
* Associate degree or Trade Certification in Computer related fields
* Minimum 10-12 years of experience in networking technology environments
* Minimum 10-12 years of experience working with Cisco IOS, NXOS
* Minimum 10 years of experience working with network design best practices
* Experience working within a global enterprise environment supporting the networking needs of multiple corporate offices in different countries and regions
* Hands-on experience working with firewalls such as Palo Alto Networks products DNS, DHCP and IP addressing and management
* Experience with Network Tools such as Cisco ISE, Cisco Umbrella, Infoblox, Netbrain a plus
* Experience working in a cross functional geographically distributed team environment Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and communications skills
* Experience maintaining and supporting network infrastructure in a 24/7, On-Call model
* Remote access technologies (SSL, IPSec) and site-to-site VPN Wireless networks, controllers and APs WAN provisioning and optimization
* Network/system monitoring and troubleshooting Telephony/VOIP systems Video conferencing and supporting systems
* Network Devices: Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Load Balancers (Multivendor Network Environment)
* Network Skills: TCP/IP, routing protocols (EIGRP,BGP,MPLS,IPSec VPN), Layer2/3 switching and VLAN configuration, Firewall security policy Familiar with authentication services: Radius, TACACS/TACACS+, 802.1x
* Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills to effectively work with all members of the team, a must
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interpreting and conveying IT's policies in situations requiring judgment and persuasion are required
* Ability to work after hours and participate in on-call coverage
* Ability to work effectively with a cross-functional team in planning, designing, acquisition, configuration and implementation of complex systems
