Network Engineer
DataStaff, Inc. is in need of a Network Engineer for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients in the Richmond, VA area.

Responsibilities:
- Leading and coordinating activities to procure and install LiveScans statewide
- Advise agencies as they define their LiveScan equipment and network requirements
- Assist agencies to upgrade existing equipment
- Create network connectivity between cloud-based LiveScan servers and agency LiveScans
- Coordinate network connectivity and the configuration of state and agency systems to integrate these systems with cloud-based LiveScan servers
- Coordinate activities with IT suppliers and state technical personnel
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- 5 Years - Advanced computer skills are required, particularly related to personal computer, PC peripherals and network technical support
- 5 Years - Expertise related to advanced network administration concepts (DHCP, DNS, routers, firewall, etc.)
- 5 Years - Experience in troubleshooting computer software/hardware problems
- 5 Years - Advanced customer relations skills
- 5 Years - Good verbal and written communication skills
- 5 Years - Ability to control and manage several projects simultaneously
- 5 Years - Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS outlook
- 5 Years - Strong analytical and decision-making skills
