Job Description
Job Role: Senior Software Engineer, Salesforce
Job location: Hybrid - Richardson, TX 75082
Duration: 6 months contact
Must work onsite at the CBRE Richardson office 3 days/week.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Salesforce to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce applications, as well as a strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development: Develop and maintain custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce technologies.
- Integration: Integrate Salesforce with other systems using Mulesoft, REST, SOAP APIs, and other source systems such as Data Cloud, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
- Customization: Customize Salesforce to meet business requirements, including creating custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and triggers.
- Enterprise Solutions: Design and build scalable, high-performance enterprise solutions on the Salesforce platform to meet complex business requirements.
- Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of Salesforce applications to ensure functionality and performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, business analysts, and other developers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Project Leadership: Lead project teams, manage project timelines, and ensure successful delivery of Salesforce projects. Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for Salesforce applications and processes.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in Salesforce development, including experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and triggers.
- Skills: Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, Mulesoft, Data Cloud, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, AWS, Python, Sales Cloud, and Experience Cloud. Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools. Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as Azure DevOps and AutoRABIT.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Proven project leadership skills, including the ability to manage timelines, coordinate with stakeholders, and deliver projects successfully.
