Job Description
Role: Full Stack Salesforce Developer
Location: Onsite - McLean, VA - Need locals onsite interview
Duration: 12M; Contract Only (Strong Potential for Conversion.)
Must Haves:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on salesforce development experience. Must have a Salesforce Developer Certification. Working knowledge of Java, Spring boot, Spring framework, Microservice integration.
• Nice to have: Master’s Degree preferred over Bachelors. Node.js, Python, SQL. Cypress testing. Jenkins, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Bitbucket), Git. AWS, EKS, Docker, OpenShift. Mortgage or financial industry background
• Schedule: Some occasional after hours or weekend work may be required during deployments, but this time would balance out throughout the pay period and would not equate to overtime.
• Day to Day: Develop and enhance features in a microservices-based application, focusing 65% on back-end and 35% on front-end development. Collaborate with an Agile team, including developers, Scrum Coach, Product Owners, and Product List, while writing and maintaining unit tests, Cucumber tests, and Cypress tests as part of a test-driven development approach. Rotate into production support every two months, handling issues during and after hours (less than 20% of tasks), and participate in a standard work schedule with occasional remote after-hours support.
Position Description:
We are searching for a highly innovative Salesforce Developer to join our team. You will get to show off your skills as a technologist and will be involved in contributing in building the platform to support the business need .As a professional salesforce developer of the development team, the Individual would execute to the solution delivery of issues as well as enhancements working alongside the dev lead in the team.
Responsibilities:
• Support core applications, including providing fixes to production defects and making enhancements
• Quickly evaluate defects, investigate causes and come up with solutions to address defects
• Develop, modify, and design software based on requirements/design specifications in salesforce
• Support integrations like Qualtrics, MDM etc.
• Help define business and user needs and processes; identify solutions, work with project team/sponsors in identifying best solution
• Participate in requirements analysis; help design applications based on system requirements; promote top code quality and solve meaningful issues related to performance tuning and scalability
• Build enhancements within existing applications to optimize efficiency
Qualifications:
• 5-7 years developing in the salesforce platform
• Working knowledge of JAVA
• Bachelor’s degree or similar in Information Technology/Computer science. Masters degree in information technology/equivalent, is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience in designing and implementing solutions in salesforce along with integrating salesforce to other platforms
• Salesforce Developer Certified (advance certifications)
• CI/CD knowledge - Jenkins or similar tools
• Advanced proficiency with multiple programming languages
• Clear understanding of software development methodologies
• Good communication skills.
• Understanding of salesforce integrations
• Worked in an scaled agile environment
