Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Earnix software configuration, particularly implementing rate tables, rate order calculations, and data integration.
- Advanced SQL skills (Oracle/SQL Server) for data extraction and analysis, along with familiarity with scripting languages like Python or R.
- Proven ability to integrate Earnix with peripheral systems, specifically Guidewire in P&C insurance contexts.
- Strong background in P&C (Property & Casualty) insurance, actuarial pricing, or rating algorithms.
- Build and maintain rate tables, rating routines, and strategy trees within the Earnix platform (e.g., PriceIt, Model Builder).
- Configure underwriting rules, segmentation strategies, and rate calculation logic to meet business requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible to configure Rating and UW rules in Earnix across the different lines of business.
- Analyze data, manage SQL datasets, and embed predictive models developed by actuarial or data science teams into the Earnix framework.
- Perform unit, integration and regression testing. Experience with Earnix (PriceIt, Model Builder) is generally required.
- Develop integrations between Earnix and core policy administration systems (e.g., Guidewire PolicyCenter) via APIs and data pipelines.
- Prepare the testplan and Qtest evidences.
- Attend stand up’s, backlog refinements, sprint plannings at regular cadences.
- Responsible for Demo's to team and business SME's for the signoff.
- Ability to promote to staging Environment Rule and Product
- Responsible for production readiness sign off and online promotion (Production environment).
