Job Description
Must Have Technical / Functional Skills
- 8+ years of relevant experience in application development or systems analysis roles
- Strong experience managing and implementing successful software projects
- Ability to adapt priorities quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated leadership and project management capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Expert-level hands-on experience with Java/J2EE and Spring Framework stack
- Strong expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices architecture
- Experience with multithreading, object-oriented design, and software development principles
- Deep understanding of Microservices best practices and design patterns
- Extensive experience in system analysis and UI programming
- Expert-level experience in Angular-based UI development
- Strong understanding of Git and JIRA
- Knowledge of SQL/Oracle databases and NoSQL databases
- Understanding of OpenShift and Docker
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, unit testing, system design, and architecture fundamentals
- Ability to contribute to high-level and low-level system design, including sequence diagrams and class diagrams
- Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills
Preferred / Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with Kafka
- Python development experience
- Exposure to AWS cloud technologies and Amazon S3
- Knowledge of LLMs, Agentic AI, and AI-enabled development tools such as GitHub Copilot
- Additional exposure to Angular UI development enhancements and best practices
Roles & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with global teams to analyze technical solutions and deliver optimal solutions for clients
- Take ownership of successful solution delivery and mentor developers when required
- Organize and participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical document reviews
- Analyze existing application systems and identify complexity, dependencies, and implementation risks
- Continuously communicate with clients and project stakeholders regarding requirements, technical solutions, and project progress
- Suggest and contribute improvements to software architecture, development processes, and emerging technologies
- Ensure adherence to client engineering standards across all project modules
- Perform consistent code and design reviews to maintain high-quality deliverables
- Help define and maintain operational standards, engineering processes, and best practices
- Operate effectively with limited supervision while driving technical excellence
