Job Description
Responsibilities:
- RESTful Service Development.
- Design and build enterprise-grade OData services (V2/V4) using the ABAP RAP framework to enable seamless integration between SAP S/4HANA and modern UI applications (Fiori/UI5).
- Business Object (BO) Modeling.
- Develop robust BOs using Behavior Definitions (BDEF) and Behavior Implementations (BIMP) supporting:
- Managed & unmanaged scenarios.
- CRUD operations, validations, determinations, and actions.
- Advanced Data Modeling (CDS).
- Architect scalable data models using ABAP CDS Views with:
- UI annotations (Fiori Elements).
- Search & analytical capabilities.
- Performance optimization.
- Clean Core & Cloud Extensibility.
- Implement ABAP Cloud (Steampunk) principles:
- Side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP.
- Developer extensibility with upgrade-safe architecture.
- Event-Based Processing & Integration.
- Enable asynchronous workflows using:
- RAP Business Events.
- Event Mesh / APIs for hybrid SAP–Non-SAP integration.
