Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- RESTful Service Development
Design and build enterprise-grade OData services (V2/V4) using the ABAP RAP framework to enable seamless integration between SAP S/4HANA and modern UI applications (Fiori/UI5). - Business Object (BO) Modeling
Develop robust BOs using Behaviour Definitions (BDEF) and Behaviour Implementations (BIMP) supporting:- Managed & unmanaged scenarios
- CRUD operations, validations, determinations, and actions
- Advanced Data Modeling (CDS)
Architect scalable data models using ABAP CDS Views with:- UI annotations (Fiori Elements)
- Search & analytical capabilities
- Performance optimization
- Clean Core & Cloud Extensibility
Implement ABAP Cloud (Steampunk) principles:- Side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP
- Developer extensibility with upgrade-safe architecture
- Event-Based Processing & Integration
Enable asynchronous workflows using:- RAP Business Events
- Event Mesh / APIs for hybrid SAP–Non-SAP integration
