Job Description

• Role Description / Experience Required:
  • Local to Chicago only
  • 8+ years experience as scrum master for software development projects
  • Experience in ADO (Azure Dev Ops)
  • Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done | user stories | automated testing | backlog refinement)
  • Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks (Safe | XP etc.)
  • Excellent communication and servant leadership skills
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Degree in Computer Science | Business or similar field
  • Scrum master certification is a plus
  • Experience with software development life cycle | waterfall | and agile principles
  • Experience with Scrum | Kanban | and SAFe
  • Experience understanding technical issues at a high level
  • Experience using Agile/Project Management Tools
  • Azure Dev Ops/JIRA experience
• Essential Skills:
  • Ensures Agile (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe) concepts and principles are adhered to allow teams to perform and accelerate delivery
  • Proficient in planning | organizing | and facilitating Scrum and SAFe events
  • Identifies | tracks | and resolves delivery impediments to optimize delivery flow
  • Develops and analyzes various reports and artifacts to ensure planned work is delivered within the sprint/release by the delivery team
  • Monitors | measures | and reports on project progress to management/leadership
  • Monitors and assesses team health and continuous improvement
