Job Description
Required Qualifications
· 8-10+ years of project management experience leading enterprise application initiatives.
· 5+ years managing PeopleSoft HCM projects in large, complex organizations.
· Demonstrated experience delivering Workforce Administration (WFA) implementations or enhancements.
· Experience managing HR, Payroll, Benefits, and cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
· Proven success leading requirements, design, testing, deployment, and change management activities.
· Strong executive communication, governance, risk management, and issue resolution skills.
· Experience managing project budgets, schedules, vendors, dependencies, and resource plans.
· Demonstrated ability to lead complex enterprise initiatives, anticipate downstream impacts, manage risks and dependencies, and drive projects to successful execution.
 
Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources, Project Management, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Master's degree preferred.
· PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or other relevant project management certification preferred.
· Experience leading PeopleSoft Mass Compensation or compensation-related initiatives.
· Knowledge of Job Data, Compensation, Position Management, and effective-dated transactions.
· Experience supporting payroll-impacting releases and downstream integration activities.
· PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 experience in large enterprise environments.
· Higher education, public sector, healthcare, or unionized workforce experience.
· Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams within a complex portfolio.

· Knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM Workforce Administration business processes and functionality.
· Knowledge of HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, and Position Management processes.
· Knowledge of payroll-impacting HR transactions and associated testing, deployment, and operational readiness requirements.
· Knowledge of effective-dated transactions and their impact on downstream systems, interfaces, and payroll processing.
· Knowledge of project management methodologies, governance practices, and SDLC frameworks.
· Knowledge of testing, deployment, change management, and organizational readiness activities.
· Strong project planning, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and resource management skills.
· Strong risk, issue, dependency, and stakeholder management skills.
· Strong facilitation skills for executive leadership, business stakeholders, campus partners, and technical teams.
· Strong relationship management skills with executive leadership, business partners, campus stakeholders, and technical teams.
· Strong requirements management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
· Strong vendor management and consultant oversight skills.
· Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
· Ability to lead large-scale PeopleSoft HCM initiatives in complex enterprise environments.
· Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities while maintaining delivery commitments.
· Ability to translate business objectives into actionable project plans and deliverables.
· Ability to build consensus among business, technical, HR, payroll, and campus stakeholders.
· Ability to assess downstream business, technical, operational, integration, and payroll impacts when evaluating project decisions and issues.
· Ability to proactively identify issues, drive resolution, and escalate risks when appropriate.
· Ability to communicate complex business and technical concepts to diverse audiences.
· Ability to take ownership of project outcomes and drive initiatives through execution and delivery.
· Ability to drive accountability, decision-making, and issue resolution across project teams.

Key Responsibilities
· Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, and resource allocations.
· Facilitate project governance, steering committees, status reporting, and executive communications.
· Manage project scope, risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and decision tracking.
· Coordinate requirements, design reviews, testing activities, deployment readiness, and cutover planning.
· Partner with HR, Payroll, Technical, Security, Integration, and business teams to achieve project objectives.
· Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, business requirements, and organizational goals.
· Drive stakeholder alignment and remove obstacles impacting project success and delivery timelines.
· Oversee vendor performance, contract deliverables, and consultant accountability.
