Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Glass Box Engineer with strong Linux administration, scripting, and application monitoring expertise. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Glassbox and enterprise deployment tools, along with strong troubleshooting skills in secure multi-data center environments.
Required Skills:
- 6+ years of experience in Linux/Windows dedicated compute environments
- Hands-on experience with Linux system administration
- Experience hosting Java applications on Linux
- Strong scripting skills in:
- Shell Script
- BladeLogic NSH
- Python
- Perl
- JavaScript
- Experience implementing and troubleshooting SSL/TLS certificates
- Hands-on experience with Glassbox
- Experience with monitoring tools such as:
- Tealeaf
- Splunk
- SiteScope
- Experience with deployment/configuration tools:
- BladeLogic
- Ansible
- Terraform
- Puppet
- Chef
- AutoSys
- Strong understanding of networking and firewall concepts
- Experience troubleshooting using:
- Ping
- nslookup
- traceroute
- curl
- Knowledge of Regular Expressions
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Administer and support Linux-based application environments.
- Deploy and maintain enterprise applications using automation tools.
- Monitor application performance using Glassbox and other monitoring platforms.
- Troubleshoot server, network, SSL/TLS, and application issues.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and application teams.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts.
- Support production deployments in secure multi-data center environments.
