Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Support continuous improvement efforts across the manufacturing environment.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing tools to improve shop floor productivity.
- Engage in basic problem-solving activities.
- Collect inspection data to create statistical process charts.
- Collaborate with CI manager, operations team, and Quality team.
- Learn and implement new technologies and process changes.
- Reinforce training from kaizen events and follow up on identified action items.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, complete or currently in progress.
- Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in high-volume, discrete manufacturing, consumer products, automotive, or similar industries preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with Six Sigma tools and statistical analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of time studies, work measurement, line balancing, and capacity analysis.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or facility layout software preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to influence teams and drive change in a manufacturing environment.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
