We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer - Project Lead to support enterprise networking operations and infrastructure initiatives within a large campus environment. This role is responsible for maintaining network reliability, troubleshooting complex issues, supporting security technologies, and leading operational activities related to network infrastructure and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and support enterprise wired and wireless network infrastructure.
• Configure, install, rack, stack, cable, and test network equipment.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, performance, and security issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and coordinate incident resolution.
• Execute network upgrades, patching, maintenance, and optimization activities.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, runbooks, and operational records.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, infrastructure teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Support firewalls, VPNs, and network security controls.
• Participate in on-call support and operational incident response activities. 

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience with enterprise networking technologies, including routing, switching, wireless networking, and TCP/IP.
• 2+ years of experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, and Fortinet devices.
• Experience diagnosing network connectivity, performance, and security issues.
• Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, access controls, and network security best practices.
• Experience with installation and deployment of network infrastructure equipment.
• Experience maintaining technical documentation and network diagrams.
• Experience with routing protocols and technologies such as OSPF, BGP, VLANs, Spanning Tree, and High Availability architectures. 

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or higher education environments.
• Wireless network administration and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with Network Access Control (NAC) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
• Familiarity with network monitoring and performance management tools.
• Experience with automation and scripting tools such as Python, Ansible, and APIs.
• Experience with network migrations, upgrades, and lifecycle replacement projects.
• Experience working in ITIL-based environments.

Education & Certifications

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
