Sr. Customer Quality Manager

Job Description:
The Sr. Customer Quality Manager will champion quality initiatives to enhance customer perception of Client's products. This role ensures customer satisfaction by managing quality standards, expectations, and resolutions. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to secure customer approvals, facilitate audits, resolve product quality issues, and drive corrective and preventive actions. As the technical interface for quality matters, the candidate must have strong expertise in quality systems, excellent organizational skills, and effective communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and manage the quality engineering team.
Act as the primary interface with customers on quality matters.
Collaborate with internal teams (Failure Analysis Engineering, Test Engineering, Product Engineering, Field Sales) to achieve quality goals and ensure customer satisfaction.
Drive corrective and preventive actions resulting from field failures and generate 8D problem resolution reports for customers.
Define and implement product quality operational and systemic improvements.
Provide product change notifications to customers.
Travel to customer sites worldwide as required.
Requirements:
Education: B.S. in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.
Experience:
Candidate needs to have IC quality engineering experience/expertise as we are an IC device manufacturer.
10+ years of experience in customer quality engineering within the semiconductor industry.
Expertise in 8D problem resolution.
Proven direct customer-facing experience in a quality management role.
Strong problem-solving skills related to semiconductor products and manufacturing processes.
Excellent technical writing skills, ensuring reports are concise and data-driven.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical discussions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in Mandarin for verbal and written technical communications
