Role : Principal Product Manager – POS & Payment Hardware
Location: Seattle, WA
Key Responsibilities
Own end-to-end strategy & execution for POS and payment hardware
Lead cross-functional collaboration with UX, software, operations, and vendors
Evaluate and select devices like registers, scanners, cash drawers, payment terminals
Prioritize usability, placement, accessibility & performance standards
Drive hardware lifecycle planning and business continuity
Deliver and support solutions at enterprise scale in quick-service retail
Must-Have Skills
10+ years in retail store-level technology
5+ years of POS/payment hardware experience
7+ years in product management, Agile practices & roadmap planning
Strong knowledge of usability, repair, vendor evaluation & installation
Proven collaboration across engineering, UX, and business teams
Excellent communication, stakeholder alignment, and decision-making skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in large retail / QSR environments
Deep understanding of hardware-software integration
Familiar with store support models, analytics, and optimization tools
Product Owner certification or Agile PM experience
