Salesforce Lead
Location: Remote

Role Overview
The Salesforce Lead will serve as the strategic and technical owner of the Salesforce ecosystem. This senior-level role requires a blend of enterprise architecture expertise, hands-on development knowledge, and leadership skills to scale Salesforce across multiple business units. The ideal candidate will drive the Salesforce roadmap, mentor a high-performing team, and ensure that the platform continuously enables organizational growth and customer success.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Ownership & Roadmap
- Partner with senior leadership to identify opportunities for Salesforce to enable new business capabilities and efficiencies.

Lead platform governance, ensuring consistent architecture standards, data integrity, and compliance.
- Technical Leadership & Architecture
- Oversee architecture design for scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions across multiple Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing, etc.).
- Evaluate and implement advanced Salesforce capabilities (e.g., Einstein AI/Analytics, CPQ, Field Service, DevOps Center).
- Provide deep guidance on integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware), data modeling, and enterprise-level security.
- Team Leadership & Delivery
- Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce Developers, Architects, Admins, and Business Analysts; foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Oversee the full SDLC—requirements, design, development, testing, deployment—ensuring best practices in CI/CD, code review, and release management.
- Manage external partners/consultants to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the key liaison between technology and business units (Sales, Operations, Compliance, Customer Success, etc.).
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions while balancing cost, performance, and maintainability.
- Stay ahead of Salesforce releases and emerging technologies; recommend and champion platform innovations.
- Monitor platform health, adoption, and ROI; proactively identify areas for optimization or automation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience:
- 10+ years of progressive Salesforce experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership or architect role managing enterprise-wide Salesforce programs.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale Salesforce implementations with multiple clouds and complex integrations.
- Hands-on expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and declarative configuration.
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, data governance, and security models.
- Experience with Agile delivery, DevOps, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset, Git).
- Certifications (Highly Preferred): Salesforce Application/System Architect or Technical Architect, Platform Developer II, Salesforce Administrator, and/or relevant cloud certifications.
