Job Description
We have a high-priority requirement for a Java Systems Analyst (NOT a Developer role) with our client in Tallahassee, FL. This is a 100% onsite role, and we are open to candidates outside the state who are willing to relocate within 2–3 weeks and attend a mandatory in-person interview.

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Java Systems Analyst to serve as a technical expert across the full SDLC, bridging business requirements and technical implementation. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java/J2EE environments, along with the ability to translate complex business needs into scalable enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into:
- Functional specifications
- Technical design documents (TDD/SDD)
- Process flows and traceability matrices
- Collaborate with stakeholders including project sponsors, architects, developers, and leadership teams
- Support UAT, system validation, and integration with internal/external systems
- Analyze, design, and maintain enterprise applications
- Design and manage database structures and persistence using JPA/Hibernate and SQL
- Develop and execute test cases (JUnit/TestNG)
- Perform performance and load testing using tools like Silk Performer, JProfiler, VisualVM
- Conduct research on emerging technologies and integration strategies
- Support project planning, risk management, and reporting
- Deliver weekly status reports and assist in procurement and documentation activities
Mandatory Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst on enterprise IT projects
- Strong understanding of software engineering, system design, and troubleshooting
- Proven experience delivering projects within schedule, budget, and scope
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
