Systems Administrator (AWS / Azure / Windows Server)
We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to support and expand enterprise infrastructure while managing cloud platforms, Windows and Linux servers, networking, and Azure DevOps environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with AWS, Windows Server Administration, IIS, and Azure, along with excellent troubleshooting and infrastructure management skills.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on enterprise-level infrastructure projects involving cloud technologies, system administration, security, automation, and application hosting.
Responsibilities
- Support, maintain, and expand enterprise infrastructure.
- Administer Windows Server environments (2012 R2, 2016, 2019, and 2022).
- Configure and manage IIS web servers.
- Monitor system health, performance, availability, and security.
- Troubleshoot server, application, and infrastructure issues.
- Coordinate server administration activities with internal teams, vendors, and contractors.
- Evaluate and recommend server and software upgrades.
- Manage AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
- Support Microsoft Azure environments and cloud resources.
- Create and manage Azure DevOps projects, Git repositories, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Configure Azure DevOps organizational settings.
- Implement network configurations, firewalls, DNS, TCP/IP, NTFS permissions, and file-sharing services.
- Support Linux servers (RedHat and Ubuntu), including administration and patching.
- Optimize infrastructure for performance, scalability, efficiency, and cost.
- Support developers and other IT teams with infrastructure-related needs.
- Document administrative processes and automate routine tasks.
- Participate in infrastructure planning, implementation, and ongoing operational support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5–8+ years of experience in Systems Administration or Infrastructure Engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Strong experience with Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, and 2022.
- Experience administering IIS.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, NTFS permissions, Samba/CIFS, and networking fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Experience managing enterprise server environments.
- Experience troubleshooting infrastructure, networking, and application issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Azure DevOps administration experience.
- Experience with Git repositories and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with middleware, API Management, batch processing, or IT automation tools.
- Microsoft 365 administration experience.
- Identity and Access Management (IAM) experience.
- Knowledge of security hardening and compliance.
- Linux administration (RedHat and Ubuntu).
